You are probably writing because you have a problem or a question,   please read the following... It may answer some of your questions.   I get a lot of e-mail from the Freeloader users, I can't possibly answer it all.. I look through it and if there is a question that isn't answered below, I try to respond, but if your question is covered here, I probably won't be replying.

I have had to change things on the "supporters only" programs. If you are a supporter and you don't seem to have access.. I am sorry.. Many things have happened and I just couldn't get to everyone. Drop me a letter from your main nick to let me know that you still don't have access and I will get it straightened out as soon as I can.

If you are wanting to upload sound or image files from a WebTV PageBuilder, extract the URLs on the page using my Source Viewer/URL Extractor http://source.domania.net/ . It will give you the proper URLs necessary to upload the files to another homepager using the Freeloader. BUT...

You can not FTP files TO your WebTV Page Builder homepage. WebTv doesn't give you an FTP account with that thing. If you are serious about home page building, I recommend that you get an account at one of the free homepagers, www.tripod.com , or www.geocities.com .

      Angelfire has changed it's FTP procedure. You longer use anonymous as the user name and your e-mail address as the password, you no longer upload to the "incoming" subdirectory. And you no longer have to activate the file at the Webshell.. NOW all you have to do is use your regular Angelfire username and password. The file will be uploaded straight to your directory. If you have subdirectories You can upload to them by placing the name of the subdirectory in the subdirectory input. I think you will like this process better.. Now I can nolonger say that Angelfire has the worst FTP of all the homepagers.

If you are trying to upload an image or sound file and all you get is a page with alot of "strange codes", chances are you are trying to name it without a file extension. Possible file extensions are, .html , .gif , .jpg , .mid . Check the end of the URL you are uploading and make sure you name it with a file extension appropriate for the file. For all image and sound files.. you must have an appropriate file extension

I have been getting alot of mail regarding netaddress, amexmail, yahoo and other mail service providers. People are trying to upload attachments from their accounts there but the providers are now requiring you to be logged in to view the attachments. The files you end up uploading are only error pages named as images.. www.eudoramail.com still works for me... you might want to try it
